Hi guys,

I would like to understand how a set of data (coordinates and velocity components) are organized in the exported .csv file in CFX. For instance,
I have a plane in my domain and I want to export the coordinates along with velocity components on this plane. When I look at the saved data I don't understand how CFX has chosen to organize the 6 column matrix. It is clear that the first three columns are x, y, z and the next u, v ,w but what about the order of data in column elements? It doesn't seem like CFX takes the x values in the order of magnitude ie x values don't increase as you go down the column, this is not the case for y or z column elements either. So I was wondering in what order the values are selected from the plane for each column. Thanks.

Not sure about this, but it is probably the node number order on the object selected for export.
