Hello everyone,
I am using terminal command line on Linux cluster to run cfx. Since there is no graphics, so I can not see the point monitor such as lift drag defined in cfxpre. Then I tried to find a way to output the force historical file, but it turned no good.
So, has anybody ever faced the same problem? Could cfx generate the monitor point in a file? And how?
Any suggestions will be appreciated!
Best regards.

You can setup linux to display graphics with x or mesa or lots of other options. There should be no reason you are limited to a command line.

You can load the results file on any machine (even a different OS) and load it into CFX-Monitor and export the data points you want. Alternately you can use cfx5mon on the command line to export it directly. Look up cfx5mon in the documentation for how to use this function.
