Hi all,
I am trying to figure out whether cfx takes into consideration joule thomson effect while simulating a convergent divergent nozzle with total energy and air as ideal gas. Also, I need some validation for the same (it will be helpful if u can post the link of any such research paper which validates Joule thomson effect). Your comments with logical reasons are appreciated. Abhi |

The Joule Thomson effect does not apply to ideal gases.
CFX will simulate the Joule Thompson effect for materials using a real gas equation of state. |
