Hi studs,
I'm trying to create a keyframe animation. I'd like to have the streamlines entering the turbine and passing until reaching the outlet. Since it is a radial turbine that makes it a little complicated, cause it's impossible to just move the plane between the different keyframes. Has anybody an idea how this could be solved? |

Not sure what you are doing here?
Are you implying that you create a plane, moving it away from the inlet, and have streamlines calculate back from the plane to the inlet? That is not a good method, if I understand that correctly. I am assuming you want streamlines that move out from the inlet and grow out toward the exit, as if fluid is moving? Look into using Streamline 1 > Symbol > Min Time, Max Time, Interval and Streamline 1 > Limits > Max Segments, Max Time I think these will accomplish what you are trying to do. |
