Hey everyone,
I'm running a simple conjugate heat transfer problem (laminar flow) and I keep running into the following error: +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | Message: | Master-Partition Nr. 1 | Host computer: EBMM2052-17 | *** Run-time memory allocation error *** | Not enough free memory is currently available on the system. | Could not allocate requested memory - exiting! | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | Message: | Slave-Partition Nr. 2 | Host computer: EBMM2052-17 | *** Run-time memory allocation error *** | Not enough free memory is currently available on the system. | Could not allocate requested memory - exiting! | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | Message: | Slave-Partition Nr. 3 | Host computer: EBMM2052-17 | *** Run-time memory allocation error *** | Not enough free memory is currently available on the system. | Could not allocate requested memory - exiting! | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | Message: | Slave-Partition Nr. 4 | Host computer: EBMM2052-17 | *** Run-time memory allocation error *** | Not enough free memory is currently available on the system. | Could not allocate requested memory - exiting! | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ I found a few posts on here (http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/cfx...-40gb-ram.html) and other websites from people with similar issues, but I have yet to find a clear solution. I have 48.0 GB of RAM installed on this PC (Windows 7, 64-bit) and I know that this is sufficient for the simulations that I am running, based on past cases that I have run. I have tried playing around the memory allocation factor/expert parameters, without any success. As you can see from the error, I am currently trying to run the solution using local parallel (4 cores). Any suggestions regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Alex |
