mr.hardcore.engineer is on a distinguished road
Hey all,

Perhaps a dumb question, but I am having some confusion visualizing the results of my counter-rotating turbine.

There are 3 blades on the first axial turbine, and 4 on the second set. I used the rotationally periodic boundary in the setup and it seems to simulate well. However, when I want to create a full-streamline plot in CFX-post, I can't see how to see the entire picture.

There is an instance transform that can be applied, but it seems to be applied to the entire model. These are actually independent and have been imported that way from individual blade editor components. So, I can see each side independently, just not together. ie. copy 2 more blades and see the first one, however; the second blade will be missing one.

I would rather not simulate the entire model, although I may do it as more of a final verification of the design before I have a prototype made.

thanks -

Stephen
