CFX problem with interface detection

Dear all CFX experts,
How CFX detects interface (solid/fluid) ? Does he use the material type in the mesh node ? In the pre-processing I am getting some weird interfaces. For exemple, in a domain node I should have only fluid/solid and solid/solid interfaces type. But I have also a default boundary node. This is not logical because my domain is surrounded by fluid or solid.. I am wondering if the problem doen't not come from meshing...Maybe if the meshs are not connected CFX can't detect appropriate interfaces.... Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Have a look at the default boundary and see what surfaces it has put in it. You might have a meshing problem you are not aware of.

Thanks for your reply.
The problem came from the CAD file. The geometry wasn't "shared". This created some weird problem of contact... |
