If I stop Ansys cfx/fluent solver manager by clicking stop bottom, then save it and re run the solver again after some period. Then will it start iterating from first or from next??

If you stop FLUENT, and then restart it, it will restart the computation from the last iteration of the time step before you stopped it (you stop it at time step 46, iteration 25, --> then FLUENT will restart at time step 46, iteration 25).
If you stop CFX, and then restart it, CFX will first complete the time step, and then it will stop. Then it will continue from the next time step. So, if you stop it at time step 34 (no matter what iteration), CFX will complete all the iterations of time step 34, and then it will stop. When you restart it, CFX will start from the first iteration of time step 35. Hope this helps. |
