Hi everybody,
I just set up Ansys 17.2 on a HPC cluster and except for some smaller issues it seems to work. I started 2 test simulations which I know would run with Intel MPI Distributed Parallel and Platform MPI Distributed Parallel. Since I have an Infiniband Connection between the nodes I certainly want to use it instead of the ethernet connection. So i questioned myself if there is any way to find out whether the Infiniband or the ethernet connection is currently used by CFX. Does anybody know a way? I would appreciate any help. Thanks and have a nice weekend guys. |

In windows I Look in task manager >> networking and see if the Ethernet connection has traffic. If the The infiniband network shows traffic, it is using TCPoIB, which you don't want either. I don't see any traffic at all when infiniband is working correctly.

I see, thank you.
It's a Linux cluster but I guess the cluster management system will do the same job. I'll have a look at it. Thank you for your advice. |
