Hello,

I'm simulating an axial water turbine. And I made now three simulations with 1000, 800 and 600 rev/min and the torque is always negative. The torque at 600 rev/min is still at -67 Nm. This is way to low i guess.

I mean I don't think that the torque will be better at 300 oder 200 rev/min. Is there any typical problem which can bring this up ? Any point I have to check ?

Thanks for your help!

Opaque will become famous soon enough
From your description is not clear how you computed torque, nor if you are referring to a component or the vector.

Is the torque reported along the rotation of the machine, or against the rotation of the machine. You may need to draw the axis of the machine, and the axis for which the torque is reported to.

Hey Opaque thanks for ur response and sorry that I'm writing so late (was on holiday).

So I'm relative new ,so I try to give u as many informations as I can.

I used the expression for the torque on the turbine itself with the formular:

Fluid 1.torque_(x)@Impeller_Default.

Impeller_Default includes the whole turbine with the blades, like on the picture.
