Hi everybody,

I simulate a simple channel flow with CFX-4.3 and 4.4, my post processor are View and Analyse, but i am enthusiastic by these software.

I want to export data from the dump files generated by CFX in Matlab, for exemple the velocity in a cross section (i just need a matrix with three vectors : x, y and V).

Do i use USRTRN or is it another solution ?

Tnaks you for your help.

Hi

I have used USRTRN to dump results to ASCII-files.

To make 2D plots i dump x, y, and z coordinates in one or more files and have MATLAB generating the meshgrid. This can also be done for 3D plots.

Kim
