Is there any other way or program to visualise results (*.fo file) outside CFX? Because I am working in CFX4.3 without the postprocessor license. (I have only Preprocess and Solve). Thank you in advance

You cannot visualise .fo files. You can only 'visualise' *.dmp or *.dump.* files.
You could use FieldView but I don't think you have a license for that if you don't have a license for the CFX-post processing programs. Nevertheless, what can you do without a postprocessing license? Write everything to file using Fortran routines and use Excel sheets or what? Astrid |

Hi,
Astrid is right, you can only work with dump files. However if your geometry is quite simple you can play with the USRTRN subroutine and extract all the info that you want. Regards, cfd gut |

If you don't mind writing code yourself, then you could output the data into files and then read them into something like Visual3 or Vis5D (which are free).

I think you can generate your own output data file using Output option.
