You should go to

- Edit Mesh
- Move Nodes
- Select two reference nodes (red circles)
- Select the node to align with the reference nodes (green circle)

Press apply, and the green node will be in plane

I succeeded to upload images here finally. Please take a look.

The image above is the image of the model with volume mesh and surface turned on. But when I turn off the surface, you see several sharp corner points where we can see no volume element i.e. empty corners as in the image below.

I think this is the problem with my mesh.
Can you suggest sth to solve such an issue?

You need to make sure that you have geometrical points at the ends of all curves and curves at the edges of all surfaces.
Because,.....after meshing, ICEM projects the nodes on the geometrical elements, following the hierachy: points, curves, surfaces. If there are not end points at your curves, there will not be any nodes at the corner of your geometry, so your mesh will not represent your geometry accurate.

It this does not help, you need to refine your mesh. Then still, you might need to align nodes.

I know extracting curves from the surface. Is there any feature in ICEM that extracts endpoints of curves/lines/surface?

How is it possible that you know how to extract a curve, but not how to extract a point? The idea is exactly the same...........
Go to Geometry -> Create Points -> Curve Ends

Apology for the stupid question. But I am using ICEM for the first time.

The good news is the error is fixed and I got the final result. Finally!

Since you showed a mesh on a quite complicated geometry, it suggests that you are not a beginner.

Nevertheless, good to hear that you managed to get it working!

I would not suggest to start learning ICEM. It is an old package, no longer improved, and hardly supported. So it is a dead end. Better use the ANSYS-Mesher.
