cardioCFD is on a distinguished road
Hello

I am trying to define some reactions with shear rate dependent rates in CFX, i.e, reaction rates are higher when/where shear rate is lower.

However, at the moment when I want to run the simulation, it throws an error saying:

Error processing expression 'Reaction Rate'.

The expression is invalid because:

Shear Rate is not available for use in this term

I previously had a similar problem with Shear dependent kinematic diffusivity and solved them using a ccl with RULES modified.

I was wondering if I can do the same here, like this:

RULES:
PARAMETER: Reaction Rate
Dependency List = ANY
END
END

I would appreciate any comment on that. Thanks a lot.

Opaque will become famous soon enough
Sure that should work if the requested variables is a valid ANSYS CFX name.

I think you are interested in the "Shear Strain Rate" though.
