Hi
I am trying to model a solvent called HFE 7100 flowing through a two stage turbine. I have a pressure-entahlpy graph for the fluid and i know the boundary conditions.(enters at 11.58 bar, 438K exits at 1.2bar, mass flow rate=0.5Kg/s) 3M materials have also given me some 'steam tables' for the Solvent but they do not show how viscosity and Cp vary with temp and pressure. At present i am running the simulation using saturated vapour propereties at 438K but this is giving very weird results. Should i be using a multiphase flow simulation? if so Does anyone know how to implement multiphase properties? Thanks Ed |
