Additional Variable + Multiphase

Dear all, hi once again.... I am simulating a gas-solid packed bed flow as gas-liquid flow in CFX 5.6, I am specifying very large negative resistance coefficient to liquid phase so that liquidphase doesnot move and is stationary in the domain and only gas is moving around...so the practical situation of gas flowing around solid is achieved.
Now i want to specify an additional variable in liquidphase (unspecified or specific type with algebraic equation to be solved). But when i do this, CFX solver exits and gives some undecipherable error... Error detected in routine PEEKCS CDANAM = /FLOW/GETVAR/PHYS_DIR/FL1/AV1/CELAVMAP CRESLT = NONE Stopped in routine MEMERR What does thie error mean ? The thing to note is that when i specify the same Additional Variable in gasphase, it works very fine but when i specify it in liquidphase, it is not working !!! Can anybody comment on this ? why AV is giving error in liquidphase and working well with gasphase. is it bcos i m making liquidphase stationary ?? else what can be the reason and how to tackle it? Your suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Paresh Jain |
