Hi

I am doing a 2D simulation with 1mm thickness in CFX and I changed the 1mm to 2.5mm to see the effects and the simulation is running for 2000 iterations and then I am getting this error exactly at this point

Message: |
| Memory error in ILURES. Please increase the value of the expert |
| parameter 'ilures memory factor' (default value is 1.0) and try a- |
| gain.

Firstly I cant find this ILURES memory in solver !! Can someone tell me where can I find this option to increase it ?

That looks like another indecipherable CFX error message. I have no idea what that means. You can try the expert parameter it recommends but there is likely to be something fundamentally wrong with what you are doing (but no idea what it could be).

No am not sure if it has anything to do with the physics , because the same setup with Z=1mm worked well and I just changed Z=2.5mm and I am getting this error. And that too after running for 2000 iterations

I never said it was the physics. It could be anything. Obviously it came up when you changed the mesh so it is something to do with that, but no idea what.

I got the same error many years ago, and also posted the solution here (use search function?).
