Dmitry Korshun Guest Posts: n/a	I did a small test to campare FX 5.7 on P4 2.4 (Intel 845, Win 2000) and AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (NVidia nForce 3, WinXP). The task was about 100MB in RAM. It takes t1=34m 5.656sec on P4 and t2=26m 5.0 sec on AMD of CPU time. If you make calculation 2.4GHz*(1+(t1-t2)/t1)=2.96GHz. So we could see almost the same 3000GHz as the rating of the AMD CPU. Solver said the options for CPU: For P4: intel_p4.sse2_winnt5.0) using the command: C:\CFX\CFX-5.7\bin\perllib\cfx5solve.pl -stdout-comms -batch -ccl - For AMD: (intel_k6_winnt5.1) using the command: C:\CFX\CFX-5.7\bin\perllib\cfx5solve.pl -stdout-comms -batch -ccl - Is it possible to obtain more power from AMD Athlon 64?
