PVM-buffer Error Message

Hi everyone,
i am runnig a parallel session (3x WinXP , 2GB RAM) with 3 Mio. Hexas in PVM Distributed Parallel mode. From time to time the calculation stops with the following error message: +---------------------------------------------------------------+ ERROR #333000014 has occurred in subroutine RCVBUF. Message: Problems receiving a PVM-buffer from part. 2 to part. 1 PVM-error flag from notifying missing partition: -31 +---------------------------------------------------------------+ Does anynoe know what's the reason for this behaviour? Thanks in advance |

This error sometimes occure because the Master node has lost contact with one of the slave nodes. Normally if this happens, your simulation will terminate. Is this your experience ?
