Hi there,
I'm trying to have a mesh as symmetry as I can in CFX and I know that Patran Paver Mesh Mode maybe could produce some improvement in Mesh. But I couldn't find any function to activate this both in CFX-Mesh and ICEM. Is there anyone have been doing this before? Thank you very much and every single advice is appreciated. Thanks. Regards Soon |

ICEM CFD does have a surface paver (surface mesh only) - but you need the QUAD or AIQUAD. This will give you paved quads or tris or combination. Then you can extrude that surface mesh.
If you want periodic faces and one-to-one node matching on those faces - you'll need to describe your periodic conditions before running the mesh. This is in the Model Mesh Parameters area. Then the Tetra mesh will match the periodicity automatically. |
