Hi,
I am simulate the secondary clarifier, which include solids settling in the water, with ANSYS CFX. based on the reference on clarifier simulation, the drift flux model should be combined with particle transport equation to simulate the solids settling correctly. I understand a FORTRAN routine should be used but I do not know how to do. Can somebody help me or advise me where can download the detail reference for above? thanks. |

I did this in FLUENT before. You need to add an additional particle flux proportional to the particle settling velocity in the vertical direction. I am not sure whether you can download one routine, but the work is not so complicated if you develop one by yourself.
