triple_lor is on a distinguished road
Dear All,

I want to use my own bubble coalescence model in CFX to simulate the bubbly flow inside bubble column reactors. When I generate the Bubble Reynolds Number term where i want to use the built-in variable, D32(Averaged Sauter Mean Particle Diameter) and implement the related coalescence rate into the system.
Error: The variable 'Averaged Sauter Mean Particle Diameter' referenced by parameter 'Coalescence Rate' in object '/FLOW:Flow Analysis 1/DOMAINefault Domain/MULTIPHASE MODELS/POLYDISPERSED FLUID:Polydispersed Fluid 1/COALESCENCE MODEL' does not have a required particle prefix.

thus, i added the phase prefix: AIR. Averaged Sauter Mean Particle Diameter.
the error turns to:
The variable 'Averaged Sauter Mean Particle Diameter' referenced by parameter 'Coalescence Rate' in object '/FLOW:Flow Analysis 1/DOMAINefault Domain/MULTIPHASE MODELS/POLYDISPERSED FLUID:Polydispersed Fluid 1/COALESCENCE MODEL' is not allowed to have a phase prefix.

it seems like i need a particle prefix instead of a phase prefix. Because it is gas-liquid two-phase flow, if i want to use built-in d32, what can i do? i also tried 'Mean Particle Diameter' with phase prefix, it works. Can anybody give me some suggestions? Many thanks!
