Hello

I performed Immersed solid - rigid body solution and

applied external force(Expression : force_y()@some domain) on rigid body

Then error massage printed : stopped in routine get_INSIDE_IMS

If I turn off external force, simulation proceed well.

What is problem?

force_y()@somewhere returns the force on a surface, it does not sound like a function you would use to set a force on an immersed solid.

Hello ghorrocks

The pressure acting on an immerged solid by a fluid was returned through force_y@somewhere and then applied to an external force(y = force_y()@somewhere [N].

Why do you need to do this? The force acting on an immersed solid is automatically applied to the solid, this is how immersed solids work. Can you explain why the built-in function does not work for you?
