License Manager 2020 R2 Setting up CFX Solver run ... Hello everyone, I am new in CFX trying to run simulations in a cluster in hpc. To do so, I had to install Ansys-CFX and then to sumbit a slurm job. When I want to use more than one node, I cannot connect to more than one node. Below you can find what the out. file says. I use "Intel MPI Local Parallel". What could the problem be? (Installation?) I would appreciate any feedback. Hello,
This thread may be a good thread to look up troubleshooting ideas: Running Parallel in Batch mode As ghorrocks states: you have not installed distributed parallel for CFX properly. CFX has a separate distributed parallel setup procedure and you should see the installation guide for details. |

Hello aero_head,
many thanks for your message. Previous threads, indeed, helped me to understand many things. I still have, though, some questions. I use ANSYS CFX 2020R2 and using MPI there is option of OpenMPI or Intel. In previous versions, there is always IBM options. Does someone know the differences between Intel, OpenMPI, Intel, IBM? Many thanks Charalampos |

Hello Charalampos,
I have found a word press blog that provides a nice summary of the different MPI providers: https://intothewave.wordpress.com/20...mplementation/ Hope that helps. |
