I'd like to setup a transient inlet condition about the flood flow into a dam. The inlet flowrate is varied with time.
How do I set up this situation in CFX. I hope someone can give me advices about this problem. Thanks!! |

Use a CEL expression. In the user tutorials that come with CFX 11, try tutorial 4 'Flow in a circular vent', page 101 explains how to modify the inlet condition as a function of time using CEL.

You can set up user functions if you can't write a CEL function which describes your transient inlet condition. CFX will interpolate between the data points which describe your function.
