Hi, I am interested in using CFX for the water treatment field. My purpose is to do CFD simulations for aeration tanks, sand filters and RBM (membrane bio-reactor), so it is important that simulates correctly multiphase and discrete particles in a fluid (water). Has anyone had any experiences in this field with this software? Thanks!!! Xavier

Hi,

CFX is quite strong in this type of simulation. Have a look at the CFX-Community website for heaps of papers done by other people in this topic using CFX.

Thanks Glenn, Could you please send me the link? Do you need to be a CFX user? I have not purchased CFX yet, I have to decide which software is best for this application (Fluent or CFX). cheers xavi

Hi Bart,

I can't find them either. I think I will put a message asking on the CFX-Community site asking about it.

Hi,

Go to www.ansys.com and click on "Customer area" at the bottom. You will need to register to get access.
