z_bouc_etu is on a distinguished road
Hey everyone,

I am using Compute Canada to run my CFX simulations. I am new to this and I don't understand how I can see the output file. After submitting the job (a .sh file for a .def file from cfx), I get a .out file but what do I do with this file ? I don't really understand how I can post process my simulation from this type of file.

I hope my thread belongs here and thank you very much

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
Did you try any tutorial?
Then you would have known that an output file is just a plain text file giving you a summary of what has happened during the solving process, based on your input. And that a results file contains the real solution that you can view in a postprocessor like CFD-Post.
