Can someone suggest me where to find simple Natural Convection benchmarks.I need measured data (books or articles) to better understand how to tune model parameters in CFX simulations involving heat transfer and buoyancy. Thank You.

See my Doctorate Thesis (39.2 MB, in Portuguese) and my Masterīs Dissertation (21.8 MB, in Portuguese), please go to http://rogeriofernandesbrito.googlepages.com/. There, you will find Nusselt number results for experimental data.
Best Regards! |

Good morning Mr. TITAN Algorithms,
Do you have a simple heat conducting benchmark within a solid sample with boundary conditions of time variable heat flux and with all the faces of the solid sample submitted to a constant convection heat transfer coefficient ( for example, h = 20 [W/(mēK)] and Tinfinity = 302.35 [K] )? |

well nothing of the top of my head. In the purest sense, you have a slab, one end Dirichet BC and at the other, Neumann. Would be easy to generate simulation cases but you would need to use expansion methods to solve it analytically. See the time transient slab validations on our validation page.
