I currently have CFX taking an area integral with respect to a vortex core region (found with the lambda 2 criterion). Is there a way to do this but only with the portions of the vortex core region that exist in, say X>0.2cm or an otherwise specified portion of the geometry. I’m trying to get rid of some excess regions I don’t want to find circulation of a vortex ring .
