Hi,

I have an elbow tube with some amount of flow separation in it. I m trying to break down the losses. Hw do I calculate the frictional losses/pressure loss due to friction at the wall using CFX Post?

Thanks, Sans

Sans,

I think it is not possible in a straight way , so far as I know. But if you can formulate a function using CEL expressions, and that function will be calculated for every iteration, then I think it could be possible but I am not sure. Other wise you can calculate the overall pressure drop only, not pressure drop because of friction losses only.
