Dear friends

I have taken 5 degree slice of my axis symmetry model. the solution got converged.

How to see the full model as a benefit for the symmetry boundary conditions. I tried instance transform option, but I could n't.

Any help greatly appreciated

Thank you

Regards

Right click Default Domain,
# number of copies: 72 (360°/5° = 72°)
Apply rotation
specify which axis to rotate around

Thank you Mr Lance

I just ask you, Since my model is 5 degree slice , during meshing I set the element size very very small. If I transform to full model , My system hangs. .is it the above reason?

Next

my model is a venturi model. But I modelled as a 5 degree slice. The flow is Z direction . I want to measure the average pressure at a distance (say 5cm from the inlet). How can I measure it in the sliced model. Is that measurement is equal to the average pressure at distance of 5cm when it is transformed to the whole model?

Please clarify my doubt. If this is the case no need to transform to full model. am I right?

Thank you

Regards

Put a plane where you want to measure and calculate the average pressure. If your model is axisymmetric then the average pressure in a slice should be the same as for the whole model.

Dont know why your computer hangs.

Dear Mr Lance

I would like to know how to calculate wall shear stress between fluid and porous interface
