I use Converge to simulate natural gas engine in which NG is injected directly into cylinder. I come across a problem recently. As drop parcels are introduced into the domain at the injector location, how can I define gas fuel in parcel simulation? Only liquid fuel is available, isn't it?
I hope I show my question clearly.

Yes, spray modeling can only be used for liquid fuels.
Back 2 years ago, i implemented the CNG injector tip into the domain and created INFLOW boundaries at the nozzle locations. Then i used a massflow.in file to "inject" gaseous fuel with my defined species composition and Fuel passive at the defined °CA.

However, it might be possible to use the injector embedding, if you just dont specify any fuel mass for your injector.

I used SAGE with GRI-Mech3 for Combustion.

If I create a INFLOW boundary in injector position, whether gas "injection" timing, pressure, duration and multiple gas spray can be set?

Pressure is defined in the boundary.in for the INFLOW boundary (check supersonic to define pressure and massflow rate).

The rest is defined by the massflow value specified in the massflow.in file.
It can be calculated by an equation for stationary, adiabatic and compressible outflow from a vessel.

From my understanding, INFLOW boundary is small hole in the cylinder head. Gas fuel can be injected into cylinder through small hole instead of injector. So surface of the geometey should be renewed, right?
