In Engine performance tool its showing "not enough data".
I wants CA50 data from this.
My simulation is from IVC(-85 degree) to EVO(+130degree).

Hello Sanket,

To collect the data and determine the bounds for each cycle, CONVERGE STUDIO takes the time at which the piston reaches TDC and uses data from the 180 CAD before and after TDC. You do not have this data, and thus you're being provided with that message.

I would suggest to include data from -180 to +180 CAD (at the least) if you intend to make use of the engine performance calculator in STUDIO.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Srivastava

Hi Srivastava

For the same example, if I only add the data at -180 CAD and 180 CAD, will it works?
The data will be like:
-180 pressure, temperature......
-70 pressure, temperature......
-69 pressure, temperature......
-68 pressure, temperature......
.
.
.
133 pressure, temperature......
134 pressure, temperature......
135 pressure, temperature......
180 pressure, temperature......

THX.

Best wishes,
Yaopeng

Hello Yaopeng,

Just to correct myself, you require data 180 CAD before and after firing TDC. If your firing TDC is at 0 CAD, adding points at -180 and +180 should work.

Make sure you have values for Pressure, Volume, iHR and HR Rate in your data file.

Sincerely,

Srivastava
