Hello!
I am trying to validate a motoring curve. My peak pressure and expansion stroke match quite well but there is a lag for the compression stroke. What can be the reason? I tried changing the temperature and pressure for intake port and in-cylinder but no significant difference. I am attaching the snap below. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanx! |

Hi,
there could be an encoder error which gives a shift in the experimental crank angle, but if the exp pressure is reproduced at the beginning of the compression I would expect also some difference in peak pressure compared to this plot. I would check also the experimental compression ratio. better match the intake and compression stroke before looking at other aspects imho |

What about stuff like crank shaft offset?
