Hi,
I have 2 problems in my simulation with converge 2.4 for HCCI engine modelling(fuel injection at 105 degree BTDC and an inlet air temperature of 373K) 1.Eventhough I succeeded in matching pressure-crank angle profile with experimental result the heat release rate is much lower than the experiment (fuel is bio diesel +alcohol mixture). 2.when I increase the fuel mass to match with the experimental pressure-crank angle profile simulation crashes(fuel is bio diesel only). I would be grateful if you could clear my problems. I have a well tuned reaction mechanism for bio diesel + alcohol mixture. Regards Manoj |

Hello,
There are many factors that can be contributing to the issues you are seeing. It would be best if you can send an email to support@convergecfd.com so one of our support engineers can help you figure this out. Thanks, |
