Hey,everyone

I am using CONVERGE software to simulate the combustion characteristics of a two-stroke dual-fuel engine, but when calibrating the model for pure diesel mode, I still can't call up the ignition delay, and it seems that the diesel burns as soon as it is injected. I have tried adjusting the fuel injection pressure, nozzle parameters, intake air temperature and intake pressure, but to no avail.
Would like to ask you guys, what is the reason for this and how can I adjust my model?
Looking forward to your answer, I wish you success in your work.

sincerely,

I would like to suggest two things.

1. Check your trapped mass whether it is within the acceptable limit.
2. Check Sage Reaction Multiplier (SRM). In this case, you can try decreasing your SRM if you're using SAGE chemistry.

Thanks for your advice,I am not going to changec the Reaction multiplier.Regarding the first article, how can I check.
