Intersection at a specific time step

Hi,

I don't know how much this question is relevant to this forum subject but it is relevant to converge studio. I have a problem in specific time step with intersection boundaries.

" Intersection detected between boundary 2 and 2 near point (7.860669e-02 2.315171e-03 5.887143e-02) at time -1.276000e+02. "

Would you please guide me how can I resolve that.

Hi Alireza,

Can you provide a screenshot of the boundary 2 in Studio, and what kind of event you have set up for that boundary? Is the boundary moving?

Boundary 2 is liner and connected to piston and head. the intersection error is accrued after about -40 degree piston movement. Maybe there is something related to head position.

Please check the piston position by doing an animation in Studio in the View Options tab. There you can also check for triangle intersection in each step. Do an animation for a full engine cycle, and focus on the timing that CONVERGE is saying there's an intersecting geometry.
