Infolytica is a very able competitor of Maxwell in the EM simulation field (that is much faster than Maxwell) and I am surprised people are not posting about it.

I'd like to know how it compares with say Maxwell I have experience with. Some people say it is much faster (is it?), is it more trustful (the results), is the GUI friendlier?

Definitely, every software has its own pros and cons.

Say Maxwell has a well-composed calculator. if u have profound knowledge in filed theory u can do wonderful things. And most of all it has a large user community.
On the other hand, Infolytica provides what u need. Everything over there is simple to use.

In terms of GUI and utility Maxwell 18 has become comparable to other packages like AutoDesk products but there is still a gap to be filled in Infolytica Inc.

The results are moreover closer and solving is fast in Maxwell.

If u are a beginner u can start with Infolytica and then proceed to Maxwell.
