Dear All Friends,
![]() My name is Roy Daniel, I am a grad student, and now my thesis advisor want mo to create a simple 1D open channel flow by using Flow 3D. Is there any body could explain me from where I should start , for example where can I make cross section data such as Trapezoidal shape, rectangular etc , and then roughness coefficient such "chezy" roughness and also boundary condition.. Thank you all for your time and share My best regards, Roy Daniel |

Hey and welcome,
from my point of view it is advisable to study the according chapters of the manual and also have a look at the examples given in the software. All the best, Chris Last edited by chripasch; October 24, 2014 at 07:50. |

Hi Chris
Thank you so much for you advise. You're right I'll have a look to manual and related chapter for my modeling, since I know the Flow 3D is a very wide & complex software of hydraulic modeling so I have to see which is related to my research. Thanks again Kindly cheers Roy Daniel |
