Hello All,
I am new user of Flow 3D Cast. I need to run Flow 3D Cast by varying input parameters and study the impact of this variation on the output parameters. Since this is to be done several number of times, I want to automate this process. I could figure out the way to run series of simulations by writing the ‘prepin’ and ‘workspace’ files and opening them in Flow 3D Cast. But the ‘flsgrf’ file which contains the results is in binary format and hence I am not able to extract meaningful data out of it. I wanted to know if I can set some flags in the ‘prepin’ file to get the required variables as output in ASCII format so that I can process those variables further outside Flow 3D Cast. For example, I need velocity values at every node in the mesh as a function of time. I do not want to use the Flowsight GUI to do this because I want to generate output files for more than 50 simulations done sequentially. Hence doing it manually through GUI is not feasible. I would be grateful if anyone has any idea about how to do this automatically. Thank You. Regards: Shantanu |
