Hi Guys,

I wanna know about the best BC for modeling Flow through Vertical suction pipe which submerged in Pump sump.
I used Mass source as outflow in the pipe bell entrance but want to fluid flows through pipe and exit the domain at top face of the Sump.

Any advices would be appreciated.

Not sure if I got your problem. Is not working with mass/momentum source?
You can always create an additional mesh, fitting your inlet/outlet to specify the inlet/outlet flow rate.

Best regards,
D.

Hi,

If you are talking about a pump and suction, why not can you define your boundary like a pressure difference?

Regards.
