Sludge Settling Model

Hi,
I am currently working on modelling the sludge accumulation in a wastewater treatment pond. I have modelled the velocity and turbulence and managed to get fairly good results. I inputted the results file into a sludge settling model (Flow 3D version 12) along with the gravity physical model, but could not achieve reliable results. Any suggestions or tips to keep in mind while operating the sludge model? I don't really know if I am missing out on anything crucial for the sludge model. Also, is there a particular range for the Vesilind's parameter for wastewater treatment pond?
