Numerical Beach -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

zhangxuan29 New Member susan Join Date: Oct 2014 Posts: 2 Rep Power: 0	Hello everyone: I'm using the Ansys Fluent to generate waves, but cannot absorb reflected waves using 'numerical beach' in 'open-channel wave bc'. I've tried enlarging the damping length and increasing the damping resistance to 100 (default: 10 has been tried and no effects), but don't have any effects. Could anyone help me please? Many thanks.
