Hi,

I am new to CFD and am learning it using Ansys Fluent through a graduate course. I have to simulate a cylindrical, water filled bubble column reactor with 9 inlet holes for air to come through. I have some specific questions related to this:

1. How to set up the geometry of the holes in order to give the air inlet B.C only at the holes and not at the entire base?

2. The bubble column is divided in two regions: water and air. How do I provide this conditions in a single geometry?

I did find material on the solver settings, however, I am having trouble in setting up the geometry. I will be highly obliged for any advice. Thank you for your time and energy.

Abhishek
