Hi all! Anybody knows how to do Discrete Phase Modeling of rain? I'm trying to simulate rain running off a slope. Please let me know if there is any advice!

There is a solver in OpenFoam reactingParcelFilmFoam with a nice tutorial case "hotBoxes". I never used the solver but in Fluent there is also the option for surface film model..good luck

Hi, thanks for your reply! But i'm looking more on solutions for ANSYS workbench since my school only provides that software. Do you have any idea?

Hi yes,

you need to look into DPM-Model with Eulerian Wall film.
Do you know how to run a DPM simulation in Fluent?

I don't have access to the Fluent Costumer Portal right now, but there should be a tutorial and theory for DPM and DPM with coupled Eulerian wall film.
