multi-phase flow tutorials

1How to understand about multiphase flows,interactions between the particles and walls?I am a begginer, can any one please suggest a way to understand in depth behaviour of all the options used in fluent i.e stochastic number,implict volume fraction etc.I want to know really whats happening when we activate different options.
KINDLY SUGGEST ME SOME TUTORIAL OR E-BOOKS
2.what are the pre-requisites inorder understand in depth about multiphase models?
Would be grateful if any suggestions or help is offered
