Hi everyone

I'm trying to running a spiral gravimetric simulation in Ansys, but I have a problem when I try to inject the particles, them no interactue with the fluid, water. I'm using turbulence model k-e RNG, Eulerian Multiphase Model with Dense Discrete Phase Model

Any suggestion?

Thanks

What kind of injection are you using? Can you post screenshots of your DPM panel?

Hi, I'm using surface injection, I'm injecting two injections with differents diameters of particles, and how you can see in the images attached, the particles are bouncing hit the wall

What is the behavior you expect to see? What particle forces are you enabling? From the DPM panel I see you are specifying 0 velocity, why?

The inlet velocity is 0 because I want the particles to have been dragged by the current.

Well, I'm simulating because I want to show how particles are separated along the spiral, for example in the image we can see the path of the flow, the water, and with that the particles don't have to bounce off the walls.

I only enable drag force, the lift force I don't know why but doesn't appear between the water and particle interaction, only appear between the air and particle is anable.

Also I'am seeing similar simulations like cyclones but doesn't work.
