meenuu is on a distinguished road
I am trying to simulate blood as a mixture (two-phase fluid) consisting of Red blood cells and plasma only. I am going for a 2D transient analysis of the microfluidic device and laminar flow regime. Geometry consists of 1 inlet and 5 outlets.

I am a beginner and I’m using Fluent, I have the following questions:

• Which multiphase model is best suited for the study where I want to treat red blood cells as particles and plasma as a liquid?

• Should red blood cells be treated as a discrete phase?

Thank you!!
