Hi
I am trying to simulate evaporation of gas R134a using Lee model in VOF, the problem is during the boiling process the bubble forms but the temperature of the liquid is increasing more than the saturation temperature though it should be constant. So why this happens is there something need to be defined. Thanks |

What boundary conditions are you using at the wall?
If you're trying to do the boiling simulation then you should specify wall temperature higher than saturation temperature at the wall. Also for Lee's model, model coefficient tuning is also required. |

Thanks for your response
Actually it is 2d squared domain all walls are adiabatic and constant heat flux at the bottom wall is applied, the temperature is exceeding the saturation temperature and boiling occur but not all fluid evaporates.the problem that the temperature of fluid is also increasing during the boiling which is higher than Tsat though it did not evaporate so why fluid temperature is rising ,is not supposed to evaporate one its temperature reach sat.temp, also regarding evap.frequency it is kept at default values,is it maybe the cause of the problem ?,how can i its value, i tried to search in literature but case is found to be similar to mine. Thank you |

Change the frequency value & try to map the effect of it. This frequency value is also dependant on mesh.
