Default Adding mass to a sinusoidally moving plunger

I'm using an UDF to describe the motion of the plunger but I'm being unable to add the mass of the plunger. How to club the mass to the plunger's motion? I tried using SDOF properties, but I'm not using an overset mesh, so it's probably not working. I need help as to how to add the mass
